About Drifter Style Limited

Drifter Style Limited is a Northern Ireland–based trucking brand built on heritage, hard work, and a lifelong love of the road.

Founded in 2020 in Newry, County Down, Drifter Style began with nothing more than a polishing cloth, a buffer, and over 20 years of experience behind the wheel. After starting his driving career in 1999 and stepping away from full-time driving in 2020, David turned a lifetime in the industry into a brand dedicated to celebrating it.

Born into trucking, David was raised around engines, depots, and long road miles. His father — still driving in his seventies — passed down not just the trade, but the pride that comes with it. The name “Drifter” was his father’s CB handle, and when David began driving, the old hands on the road called him “Young Drifter.” One day, after detailing a truck to perfection, someone said, “That’s Drifter style.” The name stuck — and a brand was born.

What started as a custom cleaning and polishing service quickly evolved into something far bigger. Guided by a structured five-year plan, Drifter Style has grown into a recognised trucking brand rooted in pride, presentation, and respect for the driver.

The first fully indoor Drifter Style Truck Show is launched. It quickly establishes itself as Ireland and the UK’s largest indoor truck show, attracting competitors from across Europe.
